We did a little shopping. I got some new fabrics at Joanne Fabrics and some new clothes from TJ Maxx. Lexi loves shopping! She thinks going to the store means walking around, touching everything and getting new stuff for herself.
We also went and explored the west side of Albuquerque. It's a newer side of town and is a lot more affordable than the north east where we live. When we do end up buying a house it will probably be over there.
We decided to go out for lunch since we hadn't eaten out since we moved here. We went to a restaurant right by our house named Monroe's. It's supposed to be authentic New Mexican food. It was delicious, although Sean and I are convinced that New Mexican food is the same as Old Mexican food just with red and green chilies.
Then later we had some pie. Lexi was so excited to sing and blow out the candles. We've been talking about birthdays a lot lately because her's is coming up. In fact, when we told her that is was my birthday she got upset and insisted that it was her's.
I didn't really take a lot of pictures but here are a few from the day... First we have some pictures of me with my two favorite little girls! Becoming a mom has helped me gain so much more appreciation for my own mom. Thanks for not only giving me life Mom but for giving me an amazing life!
