Going Private and "Preview Blog"

Tomorrow our blog goes private, which means you will need an invitation to continue reading it. I will be sending out invitations via email, so make sure I have your address. If you are like me you read private blogs less frequently because they won't show recent post updates on the sidebar of your blog. I'm solving that problem for all of our readings. I have created a "Preview Blog." I will update our preview blog every time I update our regular blog. So if you just save the link to our preview blog on your sidebar, you'll always know when our blog is updated. There is a link on the upper right hand corner of our preview to our regular blog. If this is all too confusing for you then just skip the preview blog all together and go start to our regular blog whenever you feel like reading. Here is the link to our Preview Blog.

Going Private

I've thought about making our blog "private" for a long time. And I've finally decided to do it. For those of you who are familiar with the concept of a private blog, let me explain. It simply means that not everyone will be able to view by blog. To read it, you must log in first. And inorder to do that I have to invite you. I know it seems like a pain, and that's the reason I've been avoiding making our blog private but I think it's worth it. So if you want to read our blog you need to send me your email address so I can send you an invite. You can leave a comment with your email address or sent me an email at samic123@gmail.com. I want to make sure that everyone has plenty of time to get invited so our blog won't be going private until Januray 1st.

Crafts and My New Blog

Lately all I want to do is crafts. All kinds of crafts. There is a problem though, I have other things I need to do and crafts can be pricey. So my solution is creating a new blog. Yes, a new blog. How does that solve any problem? Well, I am making more for myself than anyone, but the idea behind my new blog is this- it's a place where I can post ideas of things that I like and want to do, but maybe not right away. This is a way of documenting my massive craft wish list, if you will. I'm not claiming that is amazing but I do have links on it to some other really great blogs.
