Our Ward Halloween Party

Tonight was our ward's Halloween party, instead of doing a truck-or-treat (it would be too cold for the babies) we set up our own stations in the gym for treat-or-treating and played games.

Sean was the three whole punch version of Sean (if you don't watch the Office you won't get it), I was a nurse (not to original, that was my costume last year, it is just really easy because I have several pairs of scrubs). And Alexia wore her new tutu that I made. She looked soooo cute!

Here is Alexia trick-or-treating for the first time (she looks so interested in the candy). Lets be honest our ward is mostly babies, so you know all of this candy is going to us adults. Basically we were doing a candy exchange.

The next few pictures are of Alexia and her friends...

Cambri is Jessica's daughter, she is just shy of three weeks younger then Lexi. The Merrifields had a 50's theme going on. Jess was a waitress, and the twins wore poodle skirts and Cambri was a Pink Lady (from Grease) and Will was... a 50's guy.

Ryan was a Killer Robot Baby (Inspired by the Flight of the Concords). This was Will's idea, and I was amazed that she went with it. Her mom Nicole is in the R.S. presidency with me, so the girls see each other a lot. Ryan is 8 months, I think.

Harper is a week and a half younger then Alexia. Her mom is also in the R.S. presidency with me and we work out together in the mornings, so these girls she each other a lot. The Bells were golfers and Harper was their golf ball. She was so cute and such a good sport (get it!).

Whitney and Rhett just love babies. Whitney is the R.S. president so she holds Alexia frequently because we are together a lot.

These next few pictures are of some of the costumes that I enjoyed...

Cody and Laura

Kylee and Hartman - I loved his mustaches

Rhett and Taryn - they were hilarious, Rhett will make a great old man!

Can you tell what Kyle is? A zit! He had a sign on him that said "Pop Me" and he sprayed people with puss (silly string). It was gross and hilarious!

And tonight I got to meet Sarah Palin. John McCain was also there!

It's a Small World After All

For those of you who know Sean, you know that he LOVES maps and educating himself just for fun. His latest thing is studying countries. He is going down the list alphabetically and is researching two or three countires every night. He hopes to be familiar with all of them when he is done. I have such a smart husband!

Our Family Photos

For those of you who don't know, I have created an online family photo album. To get to it you can just click on the picture to the left of Alexia (if you forget there is instuctions under the picture). I updated it today and usually do it several times a week. Here is the link if you want it. Enjoy!

Rub-a-Dub-Dub

The last three nights we have tried to make Alexia's bathes more fun. One night she and I got in our swim suits and "swam" in the tub, and the next night we did it again. And then tonight she bathed in her own tub, but this time she sat up and play, well looked at, toys. And she loved it! She LOVES her bathes.

Do You Speak Baby?

Yes, another video. I haven't figured how to upload them to my online photo album so I have to post them. I am mostly doing this for my mom and other family who don't get to see her often.

Alexia is so excited about everything in the morning. Listen to her excitement. I wish I understood what she is saying...

Lexi's Latest Look

Yesterday I made Alexia's first tutu. It was so easy and just costed about $5! Here are some pictures of her in it...

Here is a youtube video showing how to make them...

Our "LP"

I bought this outfit on oldnavy.com and the boots are from my mom and I made the bow to match. Sean and I both agree that Alexia looks like a little person in this outfit and not just a baby. She is growing up so fast and that makes us sad but we are loving every minute of it!

Today was a photo shoot day at our house. I have posted a lot of new pictures on our online photo album.

Keeping Busy

As you can see from the pictures- I have been making more bows. The first picture shows my most recent ones and the second picture shows most of Alexia's bows. Soon she will have a bow for every outfit.

Our Big Girl

Here is a video of Lexi when she was almost 2 weeks old. Now she is nearly 3 1/2 months. Look how tiny she was! She really is getting so big. She has nearly doubled her birth weight.

Brrrr!

It has snowed lightly the last two days. Today it snowed a little more. It didn't stick but it was so cold and windy. This is the view from our front door, homie isn't it.
