We Miss You Andrea!

Another post about saying, "Goodbye." Last week, Sean's little sister went home for her off track. She just finished her first year here at BYU-Idaho. We had so much fun having her here and it was nice to have family close by, not to mention a babysitter. We can't wait for her to come back in January.

When Andrea first came out to school, Lexi was turning 6 months old.

We quickly introduced Andrea to G's Dairy Delights. The amazing creamery right by our apartment. Now she's hooked.


Her first semester here, Andrea took Humanities and Old Testament with Sean. They had to remind one of their teachers Brother Lon Pyper that they weren't married. The funny thing is I took D&C from him when I was pregnant and he knew that I was Sean's wife.

It wasn't uncommon for us to "kidnap" on Andrea on Saturdays and make her hang out with us. She was always willing.

Bye, Bye Bells

Sean and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Rexburg but, one thing we hate about it is having our friends move away. Last summer our amazing friends Buck and Aubrey moved and we still miss them a lot. This past week one of my best friends, Abby Bell, moved. Abby was a great friend. She and I went on walks together with our girls who are 10 days apart. We could talk about anything and she was just so much fun to be with. I already miss her A LOT! I'm happy for her as she starts the next phase of her life. Here are some pictures of our girls growing up together...

Island Park

I'm not gonna lie, I've been dreading this post because I took over 800 pictures on our trip and can't decide which ones to post. I created a photo album on our Picasa with about half the pictures I took.

Last Wednesday, Sean's parents picked Alexia and I up and took us to a Cabin just north of Island Park. Thursday, after finishing their finals, Sean and his sister Andrea came up. Sean's brothers Josh and Aaron and his sister Michelle and her family came as well. Sadly, Sean's oldest brother Jared and his family couldn't make it. Jared was actually taking the bar exam last weekend.

Anyway, we had SO MUCH FUN! The cabin was cool, nothing fancy but great for us. We hung out and played games, Scum of course. I got to meet my new adorable niece Halle. We spent a day by the water and rented a jet ski. We were able to roast hot dogs and make smores. We walked around West Yellowstone and went to a rodeo. And one of my favorite things was seeing all the beautiful scenery and sunsets. Here are some pictures...

Recently Lexi has been climbing everything she can (she still doesn't even walk yet). I found Lexi at the top of this slide! She climbed up it all by herself.

R Mountain

Sean and I have been wanting to hike "R Mountain" for a while and we finally did it last night. We climbed the north side. It was steep and I'm not gonna lie tiring. Sean carried Lexi in a sling the whole time. I thought about quitting but we made it to the top. It was gorgeous watching the sunset over the valley. To celebrate our trip we went to Sonic for slushies. It was a great night. And Lexi was so good.

For those of you who don't know what "R Mountain" is, I'll tell you. It's more formally known as the Menan Buttes. They are volcanoes, composite I believe. Here is a picture for you (this reminds me of the maps that Sean and I used in our geology class).
