"Ah Ah" and "Bubba"

This semester is a really exciting one for many reasons, but one of the big ones is that Sean's sister Andrea (pronounced "on" drea) is back at school and so is her boyfriend Brandon. It's so nice having family back in town. Lexi really likes having "Ah Ah" (Aunt Andrea) and "Bubba" (Brandon) around to play with. They come over for Sunday family dinner at our place every week and find times to stop by during the week. We have A LOT of fun when we're all together.
This is just "Brandrea" they are goofy but that's why we love having them around.
We have decided to have our weekly Family Home Evening night on Sundays when they are with us. Brandon gave the lesson last week. He's a good sport. He taught Lexi about the temple, she mostly enjoyed the pictures. And for our activity last week we played with Play Dough. I think Lexi loves all the attention.
Last week was the first week of school so we all have a lot more free time. So Brandon and Andrea stopped by a few times. We all had popcicles. Lexi loves eating off of everyones.

This is a picture of Brandon helping Lexi play on her Sit-n-Spin she got for Christmas. She was having so much for with him.

And this is a picture from our Family Home Evening last night. Each week we start off with Sean saying, "Welcome to the Christensen Family Home Evening." And then we all raise our arms in the air and say "Yeah." We do this over and over because Lexi LOVES it!
Last night Sean taught the lesson on our bodies. So we attempted to all teach her the song, "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes." She kept wanting to do it again. And then for our activity Sean and Andrea showed us this game they use to play as kid. The person with a cup of water thinks of a food and then everyone else tries to guess that food. If you get it wrong they fling a spoon full of water on you. If you get it right you get to be the person with the cup.

Lexi LOVES her "Ah Ah" and "Bubba." She gets excited when the come over. She plays with them, sit on their laps and gives them lots of kisses. She even talks about them when they are gone. It's a lot of fun having family close again.

It looks like lots of fun! The game we played growing up is called birdy birdy my cup or something like that.
