Thinking of Family

Today we were blessed to get a surprise visit from Dad, Kristi and Andrea. We were so thrilled to see them! They came and visited with us for a few hours. We went out to lunch at Wingers. We are so grateful that they made the effort to visit us.

We are sad that we won't be going down to Utah this weekend to visit family. With the semester ending next week, we are so busy preparing for finals. We are also sad that we won't be going home to Washington next week. We will miss seeing our family. We want them to know that we love them and are thinking of them.

Family Photo Shoot

We decided that it was time to get some family pictures taken. Next week we will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary, so we figured it was time. We also wanted to get pictures taken with our little angel. And since she can't fuss our cry during the photo shoot, now is a great time.

One of the IBC business groups on campus was doing family portraits. We got these done really cheap. We were happy with the results... We have such a cute growing family!

We're Famous!

Our friend Opal, told one of her friends about us. She is a photography major. She was doing a project about the family culture in Rexburg. We were some of her "models." Out of over 100 couples we were choices to be put on display in the museum.

We weren't supposed to smile. Sean and I just looked ticked in this picture. We also look every patriotic though on our couch.

We got our good friends Buck and Aubrey to be models too. They also got put on display.

24 Weeks... 16 More to Go!

Alex and I are both growing a ton. She is getting so strong. I can feel here wiggling around all the time. It is so exciting to feel her little movements. Because of her postion, Sean has still not been able to feel her. This frustrates us. Hopefully soon she will rotate so her daddy can feel her.

Spring Has Sprung!

Spring has come to Rexburg... finally!!!

Here is Sean a few weeks ago on one of our Sunday walks. This isn't staged. The snow was really that deep in that particular part.

This is Sean playing soccer on Saturday.

Notice the sunshine! We are ready for summer.

Sean's Independence Day

Thursday, I went downt to BYU with a few professors and other students in the home and family department. We went to a conference on the family all day Friday. It was amazing! I learned so much and gained many new insights.

This is our little ones first time at BYU

It was one of the few times she has had terryaki... she didn't like it.

Cynthia tried to comfort me but she just laughed at the situation.

It was my first time away from Sean since we got married last year. It was as he called it his independence day. He survived suprisingly on a pie diet as he called it. Pie and pizza pie.

It's a ???

Girl or Boy???

So, we went in to get our third ultrasound this week. We were so excited to see our baby and find out what it is. It turns out it's a... modest baby. We could never get a very good look. We were told that most likely our baby is a girl but they didn't want to give us a 100% confirmation. So we were told that it's about a 75% chance we are going to have a daughter.

I know this she really is our child because she is ornery and stuborn just like her parents and she has my long legs. She looks healthy. We got to see the 4 chambers of her heart and the parts of her brain... basically we got to see everything but what we wanted. There is another chance that we will get another ultrasound because we didn't get a good side profile and because she is breech right now. Or we may just option to pay the money to get a 3D ultrasound. Or there is our thrid option wait and see. I am not very patient, so I suspect that we will be gettinga 3D ultrasound within a month.

We're Half Way There

140 days down and only 140 more to go! I am 20 weeks today. We find out if this is a little Sean or Sam in 9 days! And then the baby clothes shopping begins!

Lincoln Day Dinner

This past Thursday was the Lincoln Day Dinner in Idaho Falls.

The College Republicans helped out Jim Risch's campaign. He is running for U.S. Senate. We got to mingle with a lot of really powerful Republicans... in Idaho. It was a lot of fun.
